Abstract

The results of a perceptual experiment in which are determined that Chilean speakers of Spanish hear systematically the German vowels /e:/ and /o:/ as /i/ and /u/ are presented in this article. Besides, the reasons of that perception are to be determined through the spectrographic analysis.
