Análisis del error en la traducción automática: algunos ejemplos de las formas -ing del inglés al español

Abstract

 A  contrastive study of -ing forms in English and Spanish is presented. For such analysis, two original English texts and their respective Spanish machine translations (MT) were used. One original text has been taken from the social sciences (economy) and the other, from the technical-scientific field (mining). By comparing the machine translations of the -ing forms present in the original texts, conclusions may be drawn regarding the teaching of professional translation.
